Its been a few months since any update to the software. We have been working on a few side projects including linking TSM to Betting Assistant to automate betting on Betfair with a staking plan. Good progress has been made but there is still some work to go. From the start neither was designed to work with the other. Along the way we have decided to break TSM down into 3 versions. Basic, Advanced and Pro. The Pro version will include the automated betting feature. Only Basic and Advanced are currently available.

The Basic Version is essentially a staking plan calculator. This is designed for those that do not need all the analysis features. For those that like to analyse, collate, view data in graphs etc etc the Advanced Version is essential.

Along side this work a couple of staking plans have been added. A Lay version of the Labouchere Staking Plan has been added. Also the much requested Lay XYZ has been added. This pretty much covers a lay fibonacci staking plan amongst others.

A few editing features have been added to the Master Table. A new drop down button has been added to allow you to double your bet selections and also completely randomise your data. (The software shuffles the data 7 times to thoroughly randomise it).

A new staking plan setting has been added to the Lay Ladder Staking Plan to allow you to adjust your stake to recover commission. A setting has also been added to the Lay % Recovery Staking Plan to allow you to recover your initial stake and not just the bet loss.

On the Quick Stats tab there is also a change to the Longest Winning Sequence and Longest Losing Sequence. If the data is other than a 0 or 1 then details showing you where the sequence appears in the data is displayed. If the sequence occurs more than once the data for first instance is displayed.

On the Quick Dutch Calculator you can calculate to a fixed profit as well as fixed stake. Quite a few people requested this. The main use i can see for this is with the fixed profit staking plan.

The last big change is to how the main screen reacts to different screen resolutions. Development always took place on what was the most popular screen resolution - 1024 x 768. However after i upgraded to a 19" monitor it was startling obvious i was missing a trick. The main working screen has now been tested on all resolutions up to 1280 x 1024 and will now fill the entire screen on start up. The main screen size can be adjusted manually. The minimum size is 800 x 600 and all the sub screens are this size. Although not pretty the main screen is just about workable on a 800 x 600 monitor.

For those worried about the switch to a Basic, Advanced and Pro Version there is no need. All purchases prior to the changes will now hold an Advanced License. For those that bought the software in Jan 2006 for £14.99 you have done pretty well out of us !
